USING LUMAPLAY

Terms of use

Effective date: 16 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the LumaPlay app, website and customer account service. By creating an account, installing or using the app, or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What LumaPlay provides

LumaPlay is a media-player application and user interface. It does not supply, host, select, sell or endorse channels, playlists, streams, films, television programmes, music or other media. You must provide your own lawful access to media through services and servers that you choose.

LumaPlay is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Plex, Inc. or any media provider. Plex, Xtream Codes and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Any subscriptions or access rights from those services are separate from a LumaPlay plan.

2. Use LumaPlay lawfully

You may use LumaPlay only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms and the laws that apply where you use it. In particular, you must not use LumaPlay to:

You are responsible for checking that you have the necessary rights and permissions for every playlist, server and item of content you access. LumaPlay does not verify or grant those rights. If you are a provider or distribute the app to customers, you are responsible for your customers, your own service and any content or access you offer. You must not claim that LumaPlay supplies or licenses that content.

3. Accounts, activation codes and devices

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Plans limit the number of active registered devices as shown at purchase. Removing a device frees its active slot. Activation codes are single-use and expire at the time shown when they are created; unused codes may be revoked or expire. Do not sell or publicly share codes.

Provider customers are responsible for hosting the LumaPlay APK themselves when distributing it to their customers. You must not alter or misrepresent the app or its source of origin.

4. Trials, plans, invoices and payment

Plan features, device limits, prices and duration are shown on the website or in your customer area when you choose a plan. Unless the purchase flow states otherwise, paid access is for one year and renewal requires a new manual payment. LumaPlay does not automatically charge a saved card or automatically renew your plan.

Eligible private accounts may start with a seven-day trial without entering payment-card details. The trial ends without an automatic charge. You may pay immediately or later using Stripe’s hosted one-time Checkout, or request an emailed invoice. Invoices must be paid by their stated due date; an unpaid invoice may be voided after that date. Access provided by a paid plan begins as described in the checkout or invoice and account area.

Nothing in these terms removes any cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a mandatory right applies to your purchase, it takes precedence over anything inconsistent in these terms.

5. Third-party services

LumaPlay can connect to third-party services that you select, such as Plex or an Xtream Codes-compatible server. Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms, privacy practices, availability and charges. LumaPlay is not responsible for third-party content or services, but this does not affect any responsibility we have under applicable law.

6. Changes, suspension and availability

We may update or change LumaPlay to maintain, improve or secure it. We aim to keep the service available, but internet connectivity, devices and third-party services can affect access, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address suspected unlawful use, fraud, a security threat, serious breach of these terms, or an expired or unpaid licence. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law.

7. LumaPlay intellectual property

LumaPlay and its original app, website, branding and materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app during your trial or paid access, in line with these terms. You must not copy, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app except where applicable law does not allow that restriction or we have given written permission.

8. Disclaimers and liability

You are responsible for your internet connection, compatible device, chosen media service and rights to the content you access. To the extent permitted by law, LumaPlay is provided without a guarantee that it will work with every device, server, playlist or third-party service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect losses or for loss caused by a third-party service, content source, network or device outside our reasonable control.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as LumaPlay changes. We will publish the current version here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects existing customers, we will take reasonable steps to notify them. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms, to the extent allowed by law.
